报告人简介:

Stanislaw Migórski is a Full Professor of Mathematics at Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland. He obtained his both MSc. in Mathematics and MSc. in Computer Science in 1985. He completed his mathematical education at the Jagiellonian University receiving his PhD (1990) and Habilitation (1997) degrees in mathematics. From 1999 to 2005, he was the Director of the Institute of Computer Science in the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science at his alma mater. Dr. Migórski has published more than 100 articles on his research interests in Control Theory, Differential Equations, Nonlinear Functional Analysis, Calculus of Variations and Applications. He is the co-author of three monographs on Nonlinear Analysis by Kluwer/Plenum (2003) and Hemivariational Inequalities and Nonlinear Inclusions by Springer (2013). An invited speaker and a chairman at many international conferences and congresses in Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Europe, Japan, USA, he served also as a member of several program committees. He is a member of editorial board of several international journals and a coordinator of prestigious research project in Poland and outside. He obtained in 1992/93 a fellowship in Mathematical Analysis from Scuola Normale Superiore, Pisa, Italy. In 1993/94 he worked as a fellow in mathematics from Istituto Nazionale di Alta Matematica Francesco Severi, Rome, Italy. He was a visiting professor at University of Udine, University Paul Sabatier in Toulouse, Politecnico di Milano, University of Perpignan, Central South University in Changsha, Guangxi University for Nationalities in Nanning, and University of Ottawa, Canada. From 2008 he is a Chair Professor at the Chair of Optimization and Control Theory at Jagiellonian University, and in 2012-2014 he was the Director of the Institute of Computer Science at the Jagiellonian University.
