应beat365官方网站的邀请，加拿大麦吉尔大学数学系管鹏飞教授将于近期访问我院，来访期间将为师生做以下学术报告：

        题目：The Weyl's Isometric Embedding Problem in General Riemannian Manifolds
                 
        Abstract：
We will discuss some recent progress on the isometric embedding of surfaces to a three dimensional Riemannian ambient space: the recent work of Li-Wang on the local solvability of the nonlinear system and non-rigidity, and the Lu's local Heinz's estimate for the problem. We will also discuss some open problems in this direction.

        个人简介：
        管鹏飞教授1982年毕业于浙江大学数学系，获学士学位；后赴美深造，就读普林斯顿大学数学系，于1986、1989年先后获硕士、博士学位。现任加拿大麦吉尔大学数学系正教授、加拿大皇家科学院院士。管鹏飞教授长期从事完全非线性偏微分方程研究，攻克了几何分析领域的多个国际著名难题，并解决了退化蒙日-安培方程正则性问题。他在世界顶尖数学杂志Ann. of Math.，Acta Math.，Invent. Math.，J. Differential Geom.等发表了一系列高水平学术论文，其中部分研究工作与浙大校友汪徐家、王国芳、边保军、麻希南等合作完成。
